15 Civilians Beheaded By Taliban in Ghazni

KABUL: (Middle East Press) at least 15 civilians, including women and children have been beheaded  by Taliban insurgents in eastern Ghazni province.

Local government officials said, the civilians were beheaded by Taliban in Ajristan district on Thursday night after raiding their homes.

Provincial governor spokesman, Shafiq Nang said the fatalities were family members of the Afghan National Police (ANP) and Afghan Local Police (ALP) forces.

Provincial security chief, Asadullah Insafi has also said Taliban insurgents have torched over 60 houses following the attack in Ajristan district.

Mr. Insafi further added that heavy clashes continue between Afghan forces and Taliban insurgents, and at least 6 members of the ANP and ALP forces were martyred during clashes.

Provincial council chief, Abdul Jameh Jameh, earlier said around 800 Taliban insurgents including 200 foreign fighters have launched coordinated attacks in Ajristan district.
