39 Taliban Militants Killed,Injured During Militay Operations

KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 25 Taliban terrorists were killed and 14 others were injured during Afghan military operations in the past 24 hours, The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Wednesday.

MoI following a statement said, the operations were jointly conducted by Afghan national police, Afghan national army and Afghan intelligence – national directorate of security (NDS) operatives.

The statement further added, the operations were conducted in Kunar, Nangarhar, Baghlan, Kunduz, Kandahar, Kapisa, Logar and Helmand provinces.

Afghan National Police also discovered and confiscated light and heavy rounds ammunition,” the statement added.

Afghan National Police discovered and defused 14 different types of IEDs placed by enemies of Afghanistan for destructive activities in Logar, Herat, Farah and Helmand provinces, the statement said.

The militant groups have not commented about the report yet.
