51 illegal Incidents Reported in Capital Kabul During Past 1 Week

KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to security officials, at least 51 illegal incidents were reported in different parts of Kabul province during the past one week.

Kabul police spokesman, Hashmat Stanikzai said the incidents were reported in the 4th, 6th, 8th, and 15th police districts.

Stanikzai further noted the incidents included armed robbery of houses and vehicles, murder and other criminal actions.

He said at least 72 suspects were detained in connection to the incidents.

According to Stanikzai, the criminal actions rate has considerably dropped during the recent months and called on Kabul citizens to contact the police number 100 in any emergency situation.

This comes as the rebellion activities have also been unchecked in Kabul city during the recent months.

At least three insurgents related incidents were reported in Kabul city during the past one week which included two Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attacks against the Afghan and coalition forces and a grenade attack in Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan area.
