7 Pakistani Among 48 Insurgents Killed In Afghan Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 48 insurgents were killed following Afghan army operations during the past 24 hours said Ministry of defense.
Gen. Zahir Azimi, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan, said the operations were accomplished during the past 24 hours in various provinces.
He said at least 48 insurgents including 7 Pakistani nationals were among those killed during the operations.
Gen. Azimi further added that four commanders of the anti-government armed militants were also killed and numerous types of ammunition, weapons and explosives were seized.
At least three Afghan national army soldiers were also sacrificed during the past 24 hours, Gen. Azimi said.
He did not reveal further information regarding the exact location where the Afghan army soldiers were killed.
The anti-government armed militant groups including the Taliban rebels have not commented about the reports yet.
