74 Armed Taliban Killed, Wounded In Afghan Military Operations

MEP: During the operations conducted by the security forces in various provinces of the country, 36 Taliban were killed, 38 wounded and four others were arrested.

The operations in the past 24 hours launched in some districts of Nangarhar, Parwan, Paktika, Ghazni, Paktika, Daikundi, Herat, Samangan, Jawzjan, Takhar, Kunduz and Helmand provinces, a statement by the Ministry of Defense said.

The statement adds that at least five soldiers from the Afghan National Army were also killed in the operations.

The armed Taliban meanwhile confirmed the report saying a large number of government forces were killed and wounded during clashes.
