8 Al-Qaeda Members Joined Peace Course in Kunduz

KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to local officials, 8 Afghan members of Janduallah armed group, affiliated to Al-Qaeda havejoined the peace process on Monday in northern Kunduz province.

Provincial police Chief Ghulam Mustafa Muhsini says the ex-members of Jandullah group have also handed over different types of weapons and ammunitions to the government and have promised to live in peace.

Muhsini further added that the men joined the peace process through the struggle of the members of the peace council in the province.

According to the officials these men were involved in terrorist activities in Imam Sahib district of the province since a year.
