Four Specialized Committees Form Between Afghanistan, Iran

Afghan and Iranian officials discuss four commiteesMEP: Four specialized committees has been established to strengthen economic and strategic ties between Afghanistan and Iran in the free trade zone of Chabahar.

Specialized committees, cultural and social, military and security, economic and investment, energy and infrastructure are the four committees that have been determined for this purpose.

The committees were held aimed at further develop relations of Afghanistan and Iran between the authorities and investors of Sistan and Baluchestan provinces of Iran and Nimruz of Afghanistan.

Engineer Mohammad Sami, the governor of Nimroz province during a meeting on Sunday night in Sistan and Baluchestan, explained that the purpose of the Committee is to facilitate trade relations of political, economic and social with Iran.

He said these meetings on a regular basis and coordinated with Iranian officials and businessmen will be held on an ongoing basis.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Awosat Hashemi, the governor of Sistan and Baluchestan, said the four monthly committees will be focused on reviewing problems and would be resolved at the next joint meetings.

He added no obstacle for the development of relations between the nations should be there.

Chabahar free trade zone with 260 million population is located 645 kilometers in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan-Baluchestan.
