Fly Emirates Jet Crash-Lands At Dubai Airport

MEP: An Emirates airline flight with 275 passengers and crew on board coming from India crash-landed at Dubai International Airport on Wednesday, the Dubai government media office said on its official Twitter account.

All departures have been suspended until further notice.

Footage on social media showed smoke billowing from the aircraft but the government said all the passengers were evacuated safely.

“Our main priority now is the safety and well-being of all involved,” the airline added.

“We can confirm flight EK521 from Thiruvananthapuram [in Kerala] to Dubai has been involved in an accident at Dubai International,” Emirates said on Twitter.
