Three Afghan Citizens Killed, Injured In Iran’s Building Collapse
MEP: As a result of the collapse of a wall of a building in Tehran, capital of Iran, a young Afghan worker was killed and two others were wounded.
Tehran fire department says the incident occurred last night in Poonak area of Tehran when three young workers of Afghanistan citizens were working inside a constructing building.
The source added that another part of the building suddenly collapsed and thus a citizen was killed and two others injured.
Sayyed Jalal Maleki, Tehran fire director said the staff managed to pull out two workers from the rubble and taken to hospital. But one of them had died before the arrival of fire staff.
Iran is a country where nearly two million displaced Afghans are living in and most of whom are engaged in hard work.
