Man Kills His Wife In Samangan Province
MEP: A 25-year-old woman after serve beatings by her husband was killed in Samangan province of Afghanistan.
Samangan police spokesman Monir Rahimi told the Middle East Press, the incident occurred yesterday evening in the village of Orlamish of Hazrat Sultan district.
He referred the cause of the killing as domestic violence saying “the man fled from the area after the murder of his wife and the police trying to arrest him.”
Violence against women is one of the major problems facing this segment in the country, particularly in northern provinces and its statistics have also increased recently.
