Baari Jahani, The Minister Who Was Incompetent

MEP: Abdul Baari Jahani, recently resigned from the Ministry of Information and Culture and the fate of the resignation has not been determined yet.

Jahani, before the seat of reach, was a prominent poet who also wrote the national anthem.

He long ago for unknown reasons and during the time spent abroad, in a letter to the President sent his resignation from the ministry, but no decision has been taken in this case.

When there was much speculation about this approach of Mr Jahani, but recently Radio “Spozhmai” has revealed the reasons for his resignation.

Some reasons for it is written: “The majority of my suggestions to set and change certain cultural attachés and heads were rejected by the president.”

Jahani says for suggestions and solve problems in more than one and a half years as secretary, four times, that each time took half an hour, met with the president that for each meeting, has waited four months.

Resigned Minister of Information and Culture said, “the president is not a bad guy, but the major and minor techniques through him, have closed down his citadel employees for personal purpose.”

If a President does not have time at least once a week to see the minister, and all his appointments by the parties are biased, then ministers cannot be expected to work, something that he believes the problem is the majority of ministries, Mr Jahani added.

However, despite all these problems for the majority of ministers, civil servants and ministers in the Cabinet are also pampered two or three times a week to meet with the president, he further added.

According to him, lack of meeting of a minister with the President, idling minister for months to meet the demand for information about the cause of his meeting with the President by Secretary of the President and with the e-mail, not only cause works to be delayed, but also is an insult to a minister.

Jahani believes that the President or intentionally or by counselors paralyzed or replaced the Ministry of Information and Culture and made it incompetent, as the majority of ministers face so.

At the end he said “If there has been no work done in the ministry of information and culture, the only reason is that I had no absolutely authority and almost all competencies were taken from me by ARG and corrupt Department of Administrative Reforms.”
