IMF: Afghan Economic Slowdown In 2017
MEP: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) says Afghanistan’s economic in the 2017 has decreased and warned of the weakening of a number of emerging economies this year.
IMF in its latest report aired at the beginning of 2017, where the Afghanistan’s economic slowdown has announced as well as a number of Middle Eastern countries.
The report states that economic growth of Afghanistan, the Middle East and North Africa by three tenths of a percent (0.3) will face for 2017.
The IMF also predicted that next year (2018) the Afghanistan economic growth in the country will be dropped with one-tenth percent (0.1).
It is said that economic growth in Afghanistan and the Middle East in the next two years, respectively, 3.1 percent and 3.5 percent is estimated.
Some countries, including China and America were reported to have increase in their economic growth for the current and next year.
The forecast for global growth in a new report by the International Monetary Fund has not changed as well as showing growth of 3.4 percent for 2017 and 3.6 percent for 2018.
The international body predicted that the new US government of economic policy and trade which is based on reducing taxes and spending on infrastructure companies, gross domestic product (GDP) of the country this year, a tenth of a percent and in 2018, over four tenths of a percent compared to the previous forecast increased to 2.3 and 2.5 percent respectively.
