Suicide Attack Foiled In Khost

MEP: Security forces seized a vehicle full of explosives, prevented a suicide attack in Khost province.

Abdul Hai Zaazi, Bak District chief told the Middle East Press, the vehicle full of explosives and the suicide bomber was in transit, was discovered on Sunday evening from the surrounding areas of the district.

The vehicle carrying 16 mortar mines and other explosive materials that were prevented by security forces, he said.

Zaazi added further investigation started.

The report comes as on Saturday in a suicide attack in the district of Damandahh, three policemen were killed and six children wounded.
