U.S. President Donald Trump offers help on London attacks

United States President Donald Trump offered his country’s help to Britain in response to reports of three violent incidents including a vehicle mowing down pedestrians on London Bridge on Saturday and emphasized to promote his controversial travel ban as an extra level of security for Americans.

“Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there – WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

Local media reported that a van had hit several pedestrians on London Bridge. The Sun newspaper reported that gunshots were heard in the area.

At least six people were killed, police said.

Without mentioning the London events specifically, Trump tweeted: “We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!”
