ISAF CONDEMNS MURDER OF DISTRICT ATTORNEY AHMAD WALI TAHIRI

KABUL: (MEP) – ISAF strongly condemns the murder of Ahmad Wali Tahiri, the brother of Dr. Rangin Dadfar Spanta, national security advisor for Afghanistan, in Herat, tolled media.

Tahiri was a district attorney in Herat province.

“I express my sincere sympathies to Dr. Spanta and the family of Ahmad Wali Tahiri.” said Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, the ISAF commander. “Ahmad Wali Tahiri was a dedicated public servant. His assassination by the enemies of Afghanistan shows a blatant disregard for human life. Ahmad Wali Tahiri will be long remembered for his commitment to the Afghan people and a better Afghanistan.”
