3 killed, 2 injured as capsule burst in Nangarhar

KABUL: (MEP) – Three members of a family were killed and two others wounded, when a gas-capsule exploded in eastern province of Nangarhar, where an official said Sunday the injured were the victims’ parents.

Governor spokesman, Ahmad Zia Abdalzai told Wakht News Agency that the incident took place at about 9 am in 1st district of the provincial capital, Jalalabad killing three children and wounding their parents.

The reason was negligence of the households to properly use the tools during harsh winter resulting in the deadly incident, said police spokesman, Ghulam Hazrat Mashreqiwal.

Earlier in Kami district’s Gahik area, a similar incident killed and wounded eight members of a family.
