Taliban militants kill three people in Uruzgan Province

KABUl: (MEP) – A Police officer was killed along with two civilians when Taliban militants attacked a police checkpoint in the Zartala area in Afghanistan’s Uruzgan province on 14 February, Afghan Islamic Press reported. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, saying that they had seized five weapons and an unspecified quantity of ammunition.
