Uzbekistan, India discuss bilateral ties, Afghanistan post-2014 scenarios
KABUL: (MEP) – Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov on February 28 met with Additional Secretary Navtej Sarna of India’s Ministry of External Affairs, who arrived in Tashkent for the next round of consultations on issues of a mutual concern.
A broad range of bilateral issues was discussed at the meeting.
The officials affirmed readiness of the Foreign Ministries of two countries to provide necessary support to expansion of contacts between business circles, research and education institutions, figures of culture and arts.
A special attention was paid to priority areas of cooperation between the Foreign Ministries, regional and international issues, including scenarios of development of the situation following NATO withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2014.
