Almost 430 Kids Killed In Israeli Assault In Gaza

KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to latest figures released by Palestinian health officials in Gaza, the Israeli armed attacks have killed 1,867 Palestinians since July 8, while more than 9,500 others have been wounded.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the injured include more than 2,800 children, over 1,800 women, and 374 elderly people.

On Monday, an Israeli raid left a child killed at the al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City.

The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) said the critical effects of the Israeli attack on the besieged Gaza Strip are “almost inexpressible.”

Chief of the UNICEF field office in the blockaded area, Pernille Ironside said  “We see children killed, injured, damaged and burnt, in addition to being terrified to their centre. The consequences run much deeper than previous explosions.”

The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, has been launching retaliatory attacks against Israel.

The Israeli armed forces say  64 of its soldiers have been killed in the clashes, but Hamas puts the causualties  over 150.
