Another Explosion In Kabul Leaves One Dead

KABUL: (Middle East Press) one more heavy explosion was heard in capital Kabul on Saturday afternoon, according to reports at least one person was killed.

The detonation has reportedly taken place within the area of Mandawi in the first police district where majority of the ministries and other government compounds are located.

Meanwhile, a security officials in Kabul police department, confirmed the blast and said, at least one person was killed following the explosion.

The official further added that the blast took place after a magnetic bomb planted in a police vehicle went off. However, he did not say if the victim was a civilian or a member of the Afghan security forces.

No group including the Taliban insurgents has claimed responsibility behind the attack so far.
