MEP: A number of students and civic activists hailed and honored the sacrifices of Baghlan province military with flowers and “the courage certificates”.
Baghlan students and civil society activists today in a ceremony at the headquarters of the provincial police initially presented a plaque of courage for Brigadier General, Noor Habib Gulbahari, police chief.
The students also donated flowers for Baghlan police in recognition of the services and their functions.
Abdul Fattah al-Rashidi the coordinator of the program said to support the security forces is the duties of citizens and these soldiers should be honored and encouraged by people.
“These soldiers are the ones that face the armed Taliban in the worst moment in the front line of the battle and defend their people and country with their lives, so that’s why we have come today with a flower to appreciate their sacrifices,” he added.
Meanwhile, Noor Habib Gulbahari police chief of Baghlan said, this action of students and civil society activists is an effective step in encouraging the soldiers and has promised to never let terrorists disrupt public peace.
Baghlan police chief added that the provincial troops are already engaged in the battle against armed Taliban to provide security for the citizens of Baghlan.
