BSA requires Afghans’ conditions met, Faizi

KABUL: (MEP) – President Hamid Karzai’s spokesman, Aimal Faizi said that the long protracted security deal could be signed with the US allowing several thousands of troop stay in post-2014 Afghanistan required government’s conditions met, by the strategic country.

The deal could be finalized as soon as the US recognizes its peace-seeking failures, said Faizi who had blamed earlier the White House condemnation of 37 Bagaram prisoners release as violation of the country’s national sovereignty.

The spokesman said if the US tried the peace process get back on track and its Afghanistan-based solider end unilateral strike on the Afghan houses.

Faizi said the US should make it clear that why it failed in its efforts for the Afghan peace initiative with the Taliban—a move would help both sides sign the security accord.

He said negotiations were underway for signing the pact and it would definitely be signed, however there are rumors spread that Washington is frustrated with Afghan Kabul refusal to sign the pact, that may led to full American troop’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Faizi said the US should not pressure Afghanistan for signing the pact, as he said there was no doubt to sign the pact, but reiterated for meeting the preconditions by the US.
