At least ten people have lost their lives and 60 others wounded after a car bomb occurred in the town of Al-Dana in Syria’s Idlib province on Saturday, according to Al-Masdar News.
The so called UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said the bombing targeted a market.
So far, there has been no claim of responsibility. However, a local opposition source told DPA that “sleeper cells” linked to Daesh (ISIL/ISIS) terror group were behind the bombing.
The explosion occurred just hours after a separate blast in the town killed two people and wounded others, according to AP.
Idlib is one of the last strongholds of armed rebels fighting the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
