Car Bomb Blast Hits Logar
KABUL (MEP) – BREAKING; a car bomb blast occurred near a national army base in Logar province.
The incident happened around 1:30 pm today, Thursday, September 05, MEP reports.
Habibullah Stankzai head of Logar Provincial Council, in an interview with the MEP, confirmed the incident, saying the attack targeted the convoy of Special Forces along with foreign troops.
He did not provide further details.
The armed Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
