An eleven-year-old boy who learnt suicide training at a religious school in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz Province was detained by the police in the province.
Kunduz police chief, said in a statement that “Esmatullah,” the son of Nasser, the main resident of Saidkhel district of Maidan Wardak province, has been arrested this morning (June 20) from Kabul port of Kunduz.
“The boy along with his two brothers, went to the school to learn religious issues, and during the time they had learned suicidal training under the supervision of Maulawi Nasruddin, known as “Maulawi Zaki,” the statement added.
Kunduz police said the boy escaped from school and arrested by the police after being prepared for suicide attacks.
According to the source, the child detainee confessed to his charges in interrogations.
