KABUL: (MEP) – Human Rights Commission reports show civilian casualties have been on the rise and have increased by 3 percent last year, in which more than 5 thousand civilians were killed or wounded.
Sima Samar, head of the Human Rights Commission considers the killing of children by all parties involved in the conflict, especially the Taliban, as alarming and called for an end to civilian casualties in the Afghanistan war against terror.
The United Nations, in its recent report has also considered Afghanistan an unsafe place for children.
Institutions defending children’s rights say ending the culture of immunity could help end child abuse and trafficking.
