Zabiullah Shuja, the Baghlan media officer said that the incident took place on Wednesday which also resulted in killing two Afghan security force and six others wounded.
The clashes are ongoing, Shuja said, adding that no civilian casualties were reported.
However, Taliban militants have not made comment regarding the report.
Baghlan is among the relatively volatile provinces where the militant groups have recently increased insurgency activities in a number of its districts.
