The air raids carried out late Wednesday evening in Haroon Baba area of Haska Mina district, a spokesman for Nangarhar Governor Ahmad Zia Abdulzai said.
Abdulzai added that the militants were travelling to another place when the airstrikes targeted them.
However, no civilians’ casualties were reported during the attacks.
Abdulzai did not provide further details regarding the identity of the militants in the airstrikes.
The anti-government militants have not commented regarding the report so far.
