Explosion In Iraq Kills 19 Afghan Affiliated ISIS

KABUL: (MEP) According to a local source in Nineveh province, at least 19 Afghan ISIS members, including an explosives expert, have been killed while trying to booby-trap vehicles east of the city of Mosul.

“We have received accurate intelligence indicate that 19 Afghans ISIS, including the leader Habibullah al-Afghani who is an explosives expert in the so-called Wilayat Nineveh, have been killed while booby-trapping vehicles in a warehouse in the area of Badush in eastern Mosul”, IraqiNews.com reported Wednesday.

Another source, who requested anonymity added, the ISIS evacuated the bodies of its militants from the area of the incident.

According to a report released by UN last year, the terror group is recruiting followers in at least 25 provinces of Afghanistan with 10 percent of the sympathizers belonging to the Taliban group.
