Foreign forces shot dead three civilians in Nangarhar

As a result of shooting by foreign forces in the district of Ghani-khel in eastern Nangarhar province, three members of a family were killed.

Atallah Khogyani, a spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar told the Middle East Press the incident occurred early this morning in Shergar area.

He said the incident happened when the vehicle of foreign troops struck a roadside bomb and then opened fire on a father and two sons who were working on their lands.

Khugiani stated that as a result of the shelling, father and the two sons died.

Nangarhar governor’s spokesman did not provide information on the casualties of foreign soldiers.

An investigation is underway in this regard.

The press office of the foreign troops stationed in Afghanistan did not comment on this matter yet.
