Ghazni Officials Accused Of Electoral Fraud

KABUL: (MEP) – The office of electoral complaint commission in southern Ghazni has accused provincial government officials of electoral fraud.

IECC commissioner Abdul Qadeer Tagin said district governors, police officers and mayors had filled the boxes with fake ballots.

He added so far 14 complaints had been received from different districts of Ghazni, including Nahour, Qarabagh, Gilan, Moqor and Aab Band districts.

“We have solid evidence of fraud by district governors and police officers,” Tagin told Ariana News. “If the case investigated, it will obviously impact the poll results.”

He stated more complaints were assumed to come from other districts.
