KABUL: (Middle East Press) A woman was killed in an armed attack by unidentified gunmen in 8th police district of capital Kabul.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at about 9 am when the woman was walking on the street, in Kart-e-Naw area of Kabul city, police said.
The gunmen, on a motorbike, opened fire on her and then fled the area, according to Police reports.
Soon after the incident security forces arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.
Motive behind the attack is unknown however, an investigation has been launched into the incident to arrest the perpetrators.
