Helmand Traffic Accident Leaves Over 50 Dead, Injured

KABUL: (MEP) At least 8 people have lost their lives and more than 50 others wounded after a 303 type bus overturned in Washer district of southern Helmand province on Monday, officials said.

The accident took place on Kabul-Nimroz highway in the vicinity of Helmand province when the bus carrying passengers reversed, provincial governor’s spokesman Omar Zwak.

He said the bus was on its way from Nimroz province when the incident took place, leaving 8 dead and over 50 wounded, including women and children.
