ISIL Spread Out in Ghazni Province

KABUL: (Middle East Press) the insurgents linked with Islamic State are expanding their activities in various parts of Ghazni province, local officials in southeastern Ghazni have warned.

 Deputy provincial governor, Mohammad Ali Ahmadi has said that the Taliban insurgents linked with the Islamic State have raised the flags of the group in different regions.

He said the insurgents are demonstrating in favor of the Islamic State and have closed numerous routes to Ghazni province since they are busy with planning their actions.

This comes as a female Afghan lawmaker Huma Sultani from Ghazni province has said she supports the Taliban ideology and endorses an Islamic State in Afghanistan, similar as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Earlier month reports also suggested that the Islamic State has started distribution of pamphlets in bordering regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan, in a bid to increase its power in South Asian state.
