KABUL: (MEP) – Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta has arrived in Herat, Afghanistan, where he visited the base of the Italian contingent. He will go to Kabul where he will meet the Afghan president, Hamid Karzai. “I wanted to be here to express the strong support of the whole nation for your commitment”, Letta said. “In these difficult years for the country, in terms of both economy and stability, you represent Italy in the very best fashion, improving and even redeeming our national image”, AGI reported.
