Kabul – Baghlan Highway Blocked
MEP: Kabul – Baghlan highway has been blocked for traffic on Sunday morning due to security problems and the armed Taliban’s attack.
The highway in Larkhabi area of Dushi district over clashes between the armed Taliban and security forces was blocked, according to reports.
It is said that on both sides of the conflict, dozens of passenger and freight vehicles have been stopped.
Meanwhile, Baghlan security officials confirming the report, say a military operation has been launched to reopen the highway.
The report comes as last week Baghlan – Kunduz highway was opened to traffic after heavy fighting between Taliban and security forces.
