Karzai disagrees with home check up by Americans

KABUL: (MEP) – Kabul and Washington must show dedication to solve differences on the security agreement, said some political experts in the country.

Reports have said that President Karzai disagreed with the part of the agreement proposed by the US that would allow Afghan’s homes to be inspected by Americans.

Some analysts said that both sides should resolve all differences in less than forty-eight hours.

Shukria Barakzai, parliament representative said, “We should not lose this opportunity that comes for Afghanistan. Otherwise, what happened in Iraq can be the example of what will happen here for the people of Afghanistan.” In Iraq, a security agreement could not be reached because impunity was not offered by Iraq. Ariana news reported.

According to Shukria Barakzai, America has not come to Afghanistan to stay forever and does not want permanent bases. Afghanistan can get economic aid from America, international community and other countries in these ten years.

According to Emil Faizi, spokesman of president Karzai, “Negotiations are underway between the two sides.”
