KABUL: (MEP) – President Hamid Karzai in a telephone call, talked, with the families of victims of Jalalabad terrorist attack and with the mosque Imam affected in the incident, his office said Tuesday, BNA reported.
The president also in a telephone call talked with Fazal Rahim a local resident who had lost five members of his family in the incident.
The President while strongly condemning the terrorist attack conveyed his deepest sympathies and promised all possible cooperation and assistance to them, according to the presidential palace.
He assured the martyred families, the Afghan government will render necessary assistance to them.
Meanwhile, the President also talked with the Imam of the mosque Haji Mohammad Sayed, who was also affected in the blast and his pupils were martyred.
He told him the Indian embassy has promised to reconstruct the mosque; beside this the Afghan government will not spare any assistant in rehabilitation of the mosque.
