Militant`s attack to National TV broadcaster in Nangarhar left 30 killed and wounded

“Bombers blew themselves up and made way for 4 other to enter the building of national Radio Television Afghanistan in the first area of security in Jalalabad” Khugyani Ataullah, the Nangarhar provincial governor spokesman, told the Middle East Press

He added one bomber blew himself up and the 3 other entered the building of national Radio Television after way had been made for them.

In a gun battle, Afghan security forces backed by the National Army commandos killed the 3 militants inside the building Khugyani Ataullah said.

“The attack left 6 people, four of them staff of the national TV, killed and 24 others including 7 civilians wounded” told Khugyani

Daesh has taken the responsibility of the attack.

Militants linked to Islamic State are also active in Nangarhar and have regularly carried out attacks against government-run facilities as well as Afghan and U.S. forces who are conducting joint operations in the province to eliminate loyalists of the Syria-based terrorist group.

As some unauthenticated sources said the attackers were 5 but 1 was already arrested by police.
