Mir Masjidi Khan Medal to NATO’s special operations commander in Afghanistan

NATO’s special operations commander in Afghanistan was awarded the Mir Masjidi Khan Medal by Ghani.

Maj. Gen. Scott Howell received the award at a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace.

Maj. Gen. Scott was praised for his efforts in carrying out the NATO-led special operations.

Meanwhile the president also conferred Sayed Jamaluddin Afghan medal on UK In-charge for International Development (DFID) chief in Afghanistan Chris Austin at a separate ceremony.
He was praised for his tireless efforts in implementation of the UK commitments for Afghanistan as well as well management of the aids.

British ambassador and the commander of the NATO-led Resolute Support mission were also in attendance.
