Modi Greets Karzai on Afghanistan’s 95th Independence Day

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Narendra Modi the Indian Prime Minister has congratulated President Hamid Karzai on the 95th independence day of Afghanistan.

“On behalf of the Government and people of India, I have great pleasure in extending to you and the friendly people of Afghanistan our warm greetings and heartiest felicitations on the occasion of the Independence Day of Afghanistan,” Modi said in a letter which was published online by presidential place media office.

“I take this opportunity to express my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health as also for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Afghanistan,” he said.

Modi reiterated India’s nonstop full support to the government and people of Afghanistan in their efforts to build a strong, diplomatic, combined, peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan.
