Referring to the president Ghani`s recent statements about fight against corruption, some senators accused the president of being a racist.
The Middle East Press: The Wolesi Jirga members in their Today`s meeting reacted to what president had said in the third EU conference on fight against office corruption.
“Regarding office corruption, it was racism of Ghani when he put pressures on just two definite ministries while the other organizations being sank into corruption were cleared of corruption” said Fawzia Kufi as an MP
The other MPs also interpreted Ghani`s saying as shameful and stressed looking at the corruption through the racism glasses means forgetting Afghanistan big challenges.
In Today Wednesday Wolesi Jirga meeting there were some PMs who spoke in favor of the president and cleared Ghani of such accusations.
It is to mention that in the third EU conference against corruption held in Kabul, Ghani described the ministry of interior affairs as the heart of corruption, a place where all the employments made based on favoritism and racism.
The Ghani`s remarks comes as the fate of 10 percent tax on cellphones credit cards by the ministry of finance, money having been lost in projects in Lugar and the stolen money from the Afghan National Army food and equipment have not been cleared yet.
