NDS Discovers Weapons Caches Of Haqqani Network In Kabul

KABUL: (MEP) The National Directorate of Security (NDS) during a special operation discovered and seized a cache of arms and ammunition belonging to the Haqqani terrorist network in capital Kabul.

The cache was found from Tarakhel village of Deh Sabz district, a statement by NDS said on Tuesday.

The Haqqani network hideout included two rocket launchers, four RPG7 rounds of propelled grenades, 11 magnetic mines, 17 electric capsules of explosion mines, three mine testers and 6 Nokia phones.  

The source says that the terrorist group attempted to launch attacks on Hamid Karzai Airport using the weapons and arms.

It is noteworthy that in connection with the incident, one person was arrested.
