No coordination between Pakistan’s Governments, Military
KABUL: (MEP) – Still there isn’t any coordination between the civilian and military governments of Pakistan on Afghan peace process as witnessed on the day PM Nawaz Sharif arrived in Kabul, analysts said.
These statements were expressed after dozens of mortars were fired from Pakistan into the eastern border areas of Afghanistan on the arrival of Pakistan’s Prime Minister.
On one hand, Pakistan’s civilian government promises support of Afghan peace program while on the other hand, its military fires rockets on Afghanistan, say the political analysts.
“There are four types of governments in Pakistan. They are civilian government, military government, intelligence, and religious governments. As we saw Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif showed his goodwill while the intelligence agency fired rockets into our eastern areas,” military expert Amanullah Aman said.
“As Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived, their military also launched their rocket attacks. This actually indicates there isn’t coordination between the civilian and military governments of Pakistan about the Afghan peace program,” political analyst Meer Ahmad Joyenda said, Ariana news reported.
Pakistan has been firing mortars into eastern areas of Afghanistan over the past few years. Besides huge financial damages, the attacks have left dozens of civilians dead and wounded.
