MEP: Police in Maidan Wardak province with the discovery of a car laden with explosives in Sayed Abad district, has prevented a deadly suicide bomb attack.
A statement by interior ministry said the vehicle was held on Sunday evening in special operations, carried out by military forces.
The statement added that the explosives embedded into barrels and was passed by a Corolla car which was foiled by police.
The Ministry of Interior says that terrorists were trying to use the vehicle in terrorist attacks.
According to another report, a mine has been discovered and foiled on the road of Tokhchi village of Bagram district of Parwan province.
