MEP: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Saturday morning left Kabul to Mazar-e Sharif to switch the bell of education in the province to officially start the new school year.
President Ghani traveled to Balkh city in an official visit a head of high-ranking delegation, a statement by his office said.
According to the statement, the president will ring the bell of school to officially start the New Year education in the city.
Ghani will also inaugurate mosque at the holy Shrine of Imam Ali and Noor hall as well as meeting 209 Shaheen Army Corps leadership during his visit, the statement added.
Munir Farhad, a spokesman for the governor of Balkh province has also told the Middle East Press that the President is scheduled to travel to this province.
