MEP: Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the President of Afghanistan has awarded the public higher medal of “Ghazi Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan” to the Ambassador of Japan in Kabul.
The President during a meeting on Saturday afternoon with “Hiroshi Takahashi,” Japan’s ambassador to Afghanistan, whose assignment has ended, gave him the high state medal in order to appreciate the services and efforts, Takahashi has done in the country, a statement by ARG said.
Takahashi at the time of his assignment in Afghanistan, has committed glowing efforts and assistance in order to consolidate and develop friendly relations between Afghanistan and Japan.
Ghani, also hailed Japan for its help and cooperation in different parts of Afghanistan as well as efforts of Takahashi on attracting continued support, and wished him success for his future.
Meanwhile, Takahashi thanked the President Ghani for awarding him the medal and expressed pleasure during the assignment in Afghanistan.
