KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to defense officials, at least 6 Afghan National Army (ANA) forces were killed following a roadside bomb blast.
Defense ministry spokesman, Gen. Zahir Azimi said the soldiers were killed in the past 24 hours following improvised explosive device (IED) attack.
The exact location of the incident was not disclosed where the 6 Afghan army soldiers were killed.
Gen. Azimi further added that 15 insurgents were also killed and a number of others were injured during the afghan military operations in the past 48 hours.
He said Afghan soldiers also discovered and seized 48 rounds of improvised explosive device (IED) along with some weapons and ammunition following the operations.
The insurgent groups have not commented about the report yet.
