Schools reopened after 5 years in Kandahar

KABUL: (MEP) – Kandahar Governor Office said in a statement Wednesday that two schools have been reopened after five years of delay in the southern province.

The schools were reopened through the meddling of the influential figures in Talkan and Koshkak areas of Panjwaye district, the statement said.

School in Tlkan housed some 700 students including boys and girls, while that in Koshkak had the capacity of 250 students from both, said the statement.
