Senior Kabul Police Chiefs Sacked Over Negligence

2000px-ANP_logo_English.svgKABUL: (MEP) The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has sacked two senior police chiefs in Kabul from office following investigation into two security incidents earlier in Kabul city.

The two high ranking police officers were in-charge of Police District 8 and Police District 12 were sacked for negligence in their duties after a rocket attack took place in the area and torching of a girls school.

Besides damages, watchman of Ahmad Shah Baba School also lost life when it came under the attack and set on fire by unidentified criminals few days ago.

Kabul has been witness to a series of attacks including in the form of bombings, gunfire and shelling.

The police chiefs would be taken under interrogation, according to Mol statement.
